Hello! My name is Will Stauffacher. I am a local 17 year old neighborhood boy who mows lawns and does yard work to earn money. My base lawn care comes with mowing, edging, string trimming, and blowing all on a weekly basis. I also can hedge trim, blow leaves in the fall, mulch, weed, and much more. 2 seasons ago, I had one customer. I then had to buy a self-propelled gas mower which I realize now wasn’t very good for the environment. 2 seasons ago, I gained two new customers and with the added revenue was able to purchase an Ego Power Plus 756 CFM blower which is battery-operated. 2 years ago, I wanted to expand my fleet of electric equipment. Unfortunately, the mowers sold by the company that I had bought my blower from were too pricey for my small business. I called the company and asked if they would sell me a mower at production cost. A month later I had not received any response so I decided to mail them a letter. Almost three weeks later, a mower showed up at my doorstep without any previous response, completely free to me. This then caused me to realize that I would need another battery and I needed an edger and string trimmer. I knew I would have to pay for this but as mentioned before, I am a small business and didn’t have the funds. I went to Ace Hardware on Raven Ridge Road and asked if they would give me a discount. They gave me a discount and allowed me to save over $100 on my purchase. I now have expanded my fleet to include two electric mowers, a gas mower, two string trimmers, 3 blowers, and many other tools. Now, my lawn mowing company is an all electric company all while staying the same quality as a gas company just without the noise, fumes, and hassle. I now plan to spread the knowledge of this company by mowing lawns and not only getting my name out there but also theirs. I hope that you can help me carry out this reachable vision.
